Is this a factory approved upgrade, in other words will it bugger the warranty?

Cheers

Steve
I dont believe the factory will be happy, any chance to run away from a warranty and they will take it. Have not heard of a single problem with anyone that has had the work done so far, either from Germany or here with Hangar. Greg from Hangar feels the car can take another 30 bhp once he builds the charge cooler system he is working on.

I am quite enthusiastic about the idea of getting this upgrade done to my Exige S...whilst the performance will have increased significantly, do you feel that it has upset the balance of the car?
Why are you selling it for a GT4?

I dont feel any balance change at all, if anything all this has done is shown the true potential of the car, that poor engine was so stifled in standard tune. It revs soooooo much quicker, probably down to the better breathing, and it pulls, and pulls, and pulls .................! It really is very addictive.
Happy to let you have a blast if you live near Herts? I am in no hurry to sell as i probably wont get the GT4 until summer, if at all.

Selling purely down to garage space. I collect cars like i do bikes, and its getting out of hand (according to the wife).

I live in Norfolk so am not so far away...maybe when I get a free weekend I might contact you and thankyou for the offer. I agree that whilst the standard set up is effective, the engine still feels tight and am sure it is down to the cats fitted to the headers. I am lucky enough to also have an Evora S which I have had the 390 upgrade done to and it is so much freer revving and it makes a great sound. It will be very interesting to see what Greg can do with intercooler and intake improvements.
Totally agree about the garage space problem, you can never have enough!

I should add that I am planning to put it up for sale soon, as I have a GT4 on order.
If you said you were selling this time next year then I'd be saying you have a buyer right here. I've had my S2 for 7 years now and it's had the CN260 for 4 of those years. My short drive in a v6 last week convinced me that some Komotec/H111 goodness is needed. But I have some other projects in hand and changing the toy has been kicked down the road by another 12 months unfortunately.

I dont mind keeping it a little while, I would rather it go to someone who knows what they are buying and will treat it with the respect it deserves.

The R8 looks relatively ordinary next to the v6, goes well though smile
