Hi
I own an Lotus Exige S1 sport , here in Switzerland. What are peoples thoughts on semi slicks ? I have been using 195 front 235 rear Toyo with thin spacers at the rear.
Somebody suggested returning to 225 rear without spacer. Are toyos the best semi option or should i try yokahamas ?
Thought/suggestions much appreciated. The car is used at the moment for trackdays, mainly in France.
Regards
Dominic

195/225 is the most easily available combo. Toyo R888s are just as good as the Yokohama 48s, but generally cheaper. Go with whatever's easier available. You can ditch the spacers then too smile

Best to use the Avon ZZR.

This has replaced the AO48 as the control tyre for most of the Lotus racing series.

It's cheaper, grippier and Longer lasting than the old AO48.

Here are the prices and contact details:

215/40R17 – £135.70
