If that's the car I think it is, it was I think previously owned by one of the more notorious seloc members who also still posts on here. It's had everything you can imagine done to it, rebuilt everything etc etc. will probably be in better nick than most 30k mile cars. Will be a good buy at the right price, which is probably 18kish.

Yep, it's Simon's old car.

Will make a cracking buy for someone as a keeper for someone not bothered about mileage and resale. Triggers broom anyway so few of the parts will have 82k under them! Great spec for not a lot of money.

Speak to Jim at 2bular. I have an 8*22 with a noise cancelling chamber in it that is a work of art. Even passes the Bedford drive by tests (particularly if I'm careful).

Nice! My 8x22" got me black flagged there in no time! Given I was at a 'How Fast' timed event, this was quite annoying!! They let me have one lap at the end where I could go hell-for-leather past the meter at turn-1, but I overcooked it at the following chicane and spun it.

I'll have to consider your version of the 8x22" if I want a return visit.

I also got black flagged with the standard 8*22 as I bought that first. Jim was kind enough to resolve the problem for me and I've had this exhaust for almost 3 years. I've not done a how fast session because I think I'd probably still get black flagged (and I don't think its value for money but that's another thread entirely). I generally lift slightly past the noise markers as the exhaust quietens down a lot when not at full throttle. By way of example, at a wet day in May I was warned twice that I had achieved 87.3db followed by 87.4db on the noise meter. It's always at the marker just after the hairpin at the end of the pit straight and in both cases, I was messing around but I'm aware that I'm tight on the noise limits even now - but my car is now running the 260 map and has an uprated intercooler, TRD airbox etc - it was a standard 240PP when I bought it.
