Afternoon all,

Today I fitted a Difflow Junior Railer diffuser to the Exige and whilst the old diffuser was off, I was trying to work out how to remove the number plate brackets and heatshield.

I've had a snoop around Google but can't find a guide as such, can anyone help? It's an S2 car. I've been toying with running the rear end open as I like the look.

Anyone? I've got a set of tie bars and need to lower the diffuser anyway to clear the exhaust...hoping to get stuck in on Monday. It looks like you access the top nuts for the centre panel from in the boot but my boot has nothing that looks like an access panel to the nuts?

You need to go right to the back of the boot floor. Remove carpet/panel, whatever's there and you'll find 3 nuts - well hidden on later cars. Undo them and number-plate panel can be removed.

Thanks for that. Sorted it this morning...took about 15 mins all in. Why I couldn't work that out the other day is beyond me! Just the exhaust to drop to release the heatshield and job done smile

Might be worth leaving the Nimbus sheet below the boot floor. You can trim the remainder although pay attention to the lower LH suspension joint - needs some protection if you're running a Cat.

No cat but considerably more heat than stock I'd guess. Thanks for the advice.
