Easy enough to change the exhaust later if you want to. There's an enormous number of options out there and they all sound different.

And don't have any bks given to you about voided warranty when fitting a different backbox, I've heard this a few times from one certain dealer.

Exhausts - 2bular. Get in touch with Jim Valentine and discuss what you need in terms of tone and volume and he will sort you out.

i chose the Lotus sports exhaust. it's not the best by a long way....
but, it's lighter than the std, and makes life with the dealer easier.
it does improve performance and will pass all track limits, even Bedford.
a 4-2-1 from Jim is the best (everyone says) and will give even more horses too from our little engine, but it's 2k fitted.
I would try to squeeze an exhaust deal from your dealer even at this stage.

I'm thinking of keeping my 1.6 and trying to squeeze a little more from it over the years rather than upgrade. Partly because i fancy something else for track... Caterham, tuned MX5, Zenos... in other words Harry, this is just the start for you....
