Hi all,

I recently just brought myself a lotus exige s2, it needs a few little issues sorting but nothing major, 1 of those issues is the passenger door Central lock in didn't work, the door lock and unlock was jammed in the up position , I removed the door actuator and it is jammed in the up position and will not move, I just fitted a second hand unit off eBay and now it will lock off the button but only the driver door opens when I press the button again, I can pull the latch up to open the passenger door but not sure if this is normal or not , any help would be great ,

Many thanks

Chris

Sorry can't help with the answer but you might get a better response on SELOC

Could be the central locking module as this is a fairly common issue. As has been said plenty about it on SELOC and how to change it.

Congrats on the car. Not normal. Should be once to open drivers door, twice for passengers door.

Being a Lotus, thats what happens.Mostly silly niggles.

Always nice to see pictures

Sorry I'm getting confused so it's once on the button to open drivers door and twice on the button to open them both? I also noticed that the centre console button only opens the drivers but will lock both !!

Don't use mine.

To close the boot you just need to use your handslaugh

Not a black car fan because its such a pain to keep clean. However, when its clean it looks very nice. Congrats on the car. beer

Yeah, one press opens the drivers door, press it again opens the passenger door. No idea on the button in the centre console, I've rarely used it.

On 04 111r the console button locks both doors. Useful if in rough area lol. But 1 blip on remote opens both doors, and locks both doors. They must have changed it on later models
