Does the two tone colour scheme work as well here as previous models?

Hmm, I think I'd go with "no". On the Elan, the gold stripe tied into obvious features on the bodywork (namely the bumpers) and there was nothing interrupting the line down the side of the car; on the Elise it looks like an afterthought, especially the way it intersects with the air inlets.

I'd say no too - the Elise looks far better kept simple and clean, one colour only, preferably a bright colour, Aspen white being the ultimate look (IMO)

Front and sides are good but that rear.... nono

I'd say no as I didn't like it on the S2 either!!

No it doesn't work for me either. Too much going on. Yellow white and gold on the body. Silver wheels and diffuser. Black trim, grills and hood.

The Exige Sprint did a better job of it (just getting rid of the silver) but still not my cup of tea.
