Just purchased my new Elise S Club Racer... and I'm trying to work out the best exhaust for it. I had a 111R that had the Lotus Stage 2 exhaust and I was really happy with that, Im now wondering what exhaust to put on the new Elise with the Supercharger. What exhausts have you put on your Elise with the Supercharged engine?

I gues my questions are:
- Can a Stage 2 exhaust be fitted to a Supercharged car
- If the Lotus exhaust isnt used which other ones have been used and delivered a similar result?

Thanks all

The exhaust on my 111R is the one Jim recommends for the supercharged cars - sounds great on my NA model.

I have a 2014 Elise S with the Lotus TRD exhaust and airbox on it. Works fine for me.

So research and YouTube clips are showing the Lotus Stage 3 (still oval) has a good sound and performance (?) has anyone got this fitted? It's a Janspeed part from images that I have found and I sighted the actual part at the Lotus Dealer today...

Any experiences from this one?

It will blow the packing out in very few miles and the drone at cruising speed is appalling.

Speak to Jim at 2bular, he can make you a work of art that's as loud or as quiet as you like, repackable or not, noise cancelling chambers etc etc. I've had mine for 3 years and 10,000 miles, it's still ok (just) on Bedford's noise limits.

2bular or Larini

Larini sport for a loud exhaust or a larini club sport for a really loud exhaust with pops and bangs on overrun. Also put a trd airbox on for increased supercharger whine

The quality of the Lotus silencers is crap.

2bular are a very good alternative.

Well made, great sound and much lighter.

You will be amazed how much the Lotus silencers weigh.

Thanks Everyone - looks like the Larini one might be the go here, slightly concerned that the Lotus part has less than desirable quality! Might also invest in the TRD Airbox by the sounds of things.

Appreciate the feedback.

Another vote for the 2ubular here!

I looked at all alternatives from my Exige S and went with the 2ubular. Built quality is excellent....almost didn't want to put it on the car and anted to hang it over the mantel piece instead!

I put the 2ubular and a TRD airbox on at the same time and was ecstatic with the result, loads of SC whine and with a nice noisy exhaust with absolutely no drone when travelling at motorway speeds.

Standard Lotus back box weighed 15kg whereas the larini club sport weighed 7.5kg

Much smaller and easier to fit than the OEM

That's just an awesome shot on the table! It really is a piece of art. I'm pricing up both options, the Larini is quite expensive but still cheaper than the Lotus part. Waiting to find out the car delivery date now but looks like it will be at the dealers on Friday so maybe just maybe I'll have it before Christmas! Wonder if it will fit under the tree!!

I have a 2bular on my SC. Sounds great, Jim needed to modify it, as after a relatively short time it blew the packing out, so you do need to take care with a supercharged car

Okay - So exhaust on... Had to go for the Lotus part as I couldnt get the Larini out here in time (Australia) for pick up which is actually proving to be okay. Had to go that way as the alternative parts wouldnt be here for ages yet.

Time for the next upgrade question... induction! I have the standard induction on the car is the Toyota TRD part actually any good and is it that which brings out the supercharger whine?

Thanks
