Hi Guys;

Has anyone ever weighed an S2's Seats (pre-probax)?

I'm currently installing a TVS blower in mine and am looking for the easiest place to win back the ~30Kg of weight the car will be gaining.

Get a pc680 battery to shave off another 7kg, there's loads you can do depending on budget.

The battery bracket for the clam hinge I'm installing is built around the pc680 - It's great when these decisions are taken for you wink

Yeah, I bought the bracket from rls in the states and am currently adding lightness via carbon fibre panels. Already done the wheels, airbags and rear panel delete.

If you get the powervamps battery off ebay its only 40 quid.

A set of Volk Rays TE37 saved me quite a few KG of unsprung & rotating mass. They're a much better investment than one might think (a noticeable improvement in turn-in and much quicker round those pesky chicanes in hillclimbs).
