Any thoughts on stop points along the way? How about the following:

Wool Train Station - Station Rd?, Wool, Wareham, Dorset BH20 6DT (about 22 miles from the start)

Long Stay Car Park - Lyme Regis Charmouth Rd, Lyme Regis, Dorset DT7 3DW (about 60 miles from the start)

St. Bridget Garden Centre - Clyst St Mary, Exeter, Devon EX5 1AE (about 83 miles from the start)
Any idea of times for the above? Are you coming though abbotsbury?

Updated route, that now takes into account that we meet up with DST at the Asda Car Park in Torquay
http://goo.gl/maps/pdGaM

Have also updated the the very first post on this thread to reflect the change to the end of the route.

Smudgers, no idea what time we will get to these checkpoints. We leave Bmth at 07:30, so it will depend on traffic and how manic Gooby & Grinnders decide to lead smile

Hey all. We'll after alot of organising, (which still isn't finish) I may now be joining you for the run. :-) it depends on whether I can fix the other halfs car today. My camper is already in the garage so her Mondeo is the only real option (and I'm sure some of you remember how I drive deisel mondeos!). Although the crappy Passat est courtesy car may be a last last resort. I fear if driven hard, which is gonna happen, it will fall to bits or kill me.
Right best get fixing....
If it works we will see you at 7. If it doesn't, have a great day. The weather looks great. Try not to run too many caravaners off the roads!!

Hi all - great idea to do a 10th anniversary run. Where's the time gone?

Liz can't make it because we have a new baby (not enough room for three in a Lotus!) but I'll join you from the Pavillion as far as Lyme Regis.

Looking forward to wheeling the car out from its winter hibernation and catching up with everyone.

Mike

Good to see everyone is ready.
Ginnders has flu, the real so, so may be a no-show, will depend on how he feels in he morning

See you all at 07:00

DST I'm guessing about 10:00'ish a ASDA car park. Wobble will cognac you if we are going to be much earlier/later than that

Dear god, my typing is getting worse. "Wobble will cognac" smile

Well that was fun.
Smudgers - that car of yours is nuts.
Mark - that LF1 is beautiful and the performance aint half bad either
Stu - You need a Lotus. If thats what you can do in a diesel Monday Red Bull have a vacancy in F1
Twinpipe - I twin piped the infamous roundabout on your behalf
Marcus/Julia - it was like going back 10yrs.
Grinnders - you didn't look that ill at all. Think you were just skiving.
Womble - Its a soft top for a reason and the weather was lovely. There was NO excuse(Smudgers this applies to you too)
DGR - where'd you go. Got to Wareham and you disappeared.

Wish more could have stayed for he whole run, or managed to turn up at all, it a very good drive there. Even if I did lost 5mins after telling everyone the route to take, that I then promptly ignored smile

DST - Was great to see you. Hope things start to work out for you. Never met anyone with such an up beat attitude whilst going through Chemo. Say in touch mate. Give me a shout if you are in he area. I'll even buy you a Beer

That was a thoroughly enjoyable day out and great to see so many old (and some new) faces. Beachbum, thanks for organising things, really enjoyable drive there and back. I swooped off at Sandford to enjoy the Morden road back to Wimborne.
DST you are a legend, hope things go well for you, please keep in touch.

Burger run, or breakfast next?
