For the former - what width and offset are the front wheels you've bought?

As to the latter, AD08s are usually cheaper.

Full set of 4 to fit a Lotus Elise S2 - 2 front wheels (7.0 x 16) and 2 back wheels (7.0 x 17) if that helps....??

Just to add something here..

I bought the Y spoke Exige wheels and fitted AD07's to it. From memory the fronts are 6.5" wide and not 7's but I've been to the ring with the 07's on and they have been fine.

TD's look good but you'll definitely need 08's.
