Have you not seen the Harrods car...

There certainly is a wrong colour!!!

Have to agree. There are no wrong colours, except Harrods green which is just plain terrible.

Unless it was on black wheels.

Looking at S2s I see that there's a fair old difference in price between those in colours everyone wants (blue, grey, silver, black to an extent) and those in less desirable colours (namely purple, green, non-metallic red and yellow).
Personally yellow, red, especially non-metallic would be exactly the colours I'd want. It's a sports car with bold styling, not a dullard German rep-mobil.

And then it would still be sewage coloured but with black wheels.

Alright, might need stripes as well then.

Haha! You're right though, there aren't many that look like that.

I just bought another S1 in grey - I really never thought I'd have a grey car and getting it resprayed regardless, but as soon as I saw it in the plastic I actually really like it, so will be sticking with the same colour when it's painted. Granted I know that's not an Exige or an S2, but still look good in most colours, even duller hues.

It will be going for a respray!! Haha. Although I hear they look resplendent in Harrods green as long as the wheels are black and there's a stripe.

Haha.

When I bought mine it had to be Isotope. One of the best colours for the S2 Exige I think. Makes even a dull day bright.

When I sold it 3 years later I didn't even have to advertise it, I had a dealer and a private buyer both after it. Could probably have got a little bit more if I advertised but I wasn't exactly left hanging with depreciation and couldn't be bothered with the hassle. It held it's value and cost me little to run.

I've had my S2 Exige for about 6 weeks now, I was lookin for one for around 2 months, colour was by far a huge factor in my choice, they just don't seem to come up that often in my favourite colours- Persian Blue, Isotope Green, Chrome Orange or White to a certain extent.
Got mine in the end though!

(I didn't take these awesome pics btw)

This is purely personal to the owner. I particularly wanted a yellow S1. The second one I went to see was exactly what I wanted, so I guess I was lucky. Had it 8 years now and I would be asking 33% more than I paid for it if it was for sale. It's not.
I put green stripes on it and I think (repeat I think) it's the dogs bks. Lots of folks compliment me on it, and once a bird on Scarborough seafront said 'minging colours mate' so really it's up to the person who buys the car whether they get the car and colour (lucky) or make a compromise. Not everyone will like your choice!
It's ironic that I would NEVER EVER buy an Elise in cattle silver/grey. Every other car is bloody silver/titanium/metallic grey.
As I say It's personal so what's someone's favourite colour is not the next persons. You should not buy a car in a colour that you think other people like. Be your own person.

My S2 is green with yellow stripes, and have also had a bird on Scarborough Sea Front shout the same. Funny that.
