Hi guys,

I'm picking up my Evora in March. Please can anyone advise on the best insurance broker/company to use? Will being a member of a Lotus club help?

Thanks

Admiral are at £875 with 8 yrs ncb. Seems OK. I'll try some specialists as some Lotus Forum members have paid £600 ish. That said Admiral is for 10000 mile P.A. with Euro cover. All relative I guess

Competition Car Insirance for me. As I need track day cover, so that rules out a lot of standard insurance agents for me.

Anyone had any recent quotes for Evora insurance?

My renewal came in recently at £450 for a 6yr old low mileage NA, last year's policy having been c £330.

I tried Admiral and LVE and both came out more than my renewal - "Meerkat" options had a couple at c £340, one of which was esure, and the other one I had never head of - the other options all being in line with my existing renewal.

Did the usual chat with my existing provider re not happy with price etc, and they managed to lop off the enormous amount of £10!

Can't say I am keen on esure given that their quote is suspiciously out of line with the others.

They just quoted me £1990 for my Evora. That's twice what I pay to insure the entire household fleet!
