Thinking of replacing my TVR with a Elise..but I weigh about 16 stone (all muscle...honest). I'm worried that this will greatly affect the performanace...Any other lardies out there who can let me know.

I've heard that adding a passenger adds about 1 second to the 0-60 time...

I'm permanently carrying around about half a passenger, as I'm about 19 stone Performance is still fantastic as far as I'm concerned! Can't give you an official 0-60 time though...

I too carry a modicum of 'puppyfat' - never noticed performance premium, in fact added wt increases traction in and out of corners...

Can honestly say I don't notice the extra passeners weight when I get stuck with one...

Its probably measurable with timing gear, but its not feelable (by me at least). Its not like being in a 1.1 fiesta trying to go up a hill with 4 passengers if thats what you are worrying about
