Its a shame you were not around on Sat, a few PHers met up near Huntingdon. Took a few of them for a run in my TT'd car.
Not sure if TT have their demo car back on the road, but give Rob Yeomans a ring. Alternatively, if you are ever passing South Suffolk way I'll take you out.
There are quite a few other SELOC members with both TT cars and the odd Honda conv. Have a look at their website for runs when you may come across a few there too.

Thats great I must have posted about 5 times on the forum and the help I am getting is great. Thanks for the offer, I will defo come to the next meet up..
You will have to forgive me as I am new to this, who is Rob Yeoman? Also what is SELOC, and more importantly what is there webby.
How does the TT conversion compare in cost to the Honda conversion? I can imagine a chip and you have a 260bhp high torque J-cloth, sounds like a definate option. I had never heard of one before just the TT S/C conversion.
Bounce I take it the thing moves then?
I don't think there is much more than 3 honda conversions in the UK so far. One is owned by the resellers, one is being entered into a race series, and the other I've forgotten about.
A few people are holding off for the time being as its a fairly new conversion. The potential power and reliability of the lump are definitely attractive though.

George there is a good thread on SELOC that argues the case(vehmently in some instances) between the merits of Honda and TT conversions. The primary difference would be high reving, in theory better reliability, to be proved, for the higher BHP out puts against torque at lower revs for TT against reliability that was tainted with the earlier cars but now much improved.
Boils down to you personal perference and how and where you drive your car. I wanted better driveability, as in overtaking power, on real roads. I do track days but 90% of the time the car is on public roads.

Thanks Felix I will take alook. I have always had this preconception that a track car or car of this nature would be more suited to N/A power. Like you say though without driving one I could never really pass judgement.
I could just wait till the Exige is 20k, but will that be fast enough? I doubt it.

Exige is certainly another option, and if I spent more of my time of the track its what I would have gone for instead. However the wife likes to have the top off, so unless I used a bloody big can opener/hacksaw, an Exige was always going to be a none starter.
Test drive the different cars and base your decision on that, its really the only way to find out.

George for the facts and figures on TT see www.turbotechnics.com/cars/elise.htm
Rob is the guy to speak to at TT for test drives. Their service and back up is second to none - many other TT convertees wil testify to that.
