I am now in full Elise search mode!!

What views do people have on colours, kind of naff question but are some cheaper than others? I have decided I don't want either a red or green one and whilst titanium looks good it is quite... Common! Also titanium seems more expensive! My favorite colour is nautalus (spelling!) green but they seem very rare, I also really like yellow - there is something about bright yellow and the black of the roof and tyres that looks good. What do people think? I don't want to get laughed at!!! (More than I am being now for posting this!!!)

okay...sorry! They made very few of the elise S1's in yellow as I recall...the stats are/were available on the official Lotus BBS a while ago but cant find em now.

I LOVE the deep purple, titanium and Nautilus as well....hate white, silver, flat red...all v common (except white which is just foul)

surprised you think titanium is commen...maybe it is where you live, I ve only ever seen one I think!

I thought Norfol Mustard was fairly common-ish? There's a few for sale in that colour.

Personally, I really like Azure Blue, New Aluminium, Titanium and black.

There's always tonnes of yellow ones for sale but not that many on the road.

Azure Blue and any of the various Silvers are quite comon round here - My red one is quite individual in my neck of the woods

Deep Purple, Nautilus Blue or Black all rock and were my first choices on colour but this red one was £2500 under book price!

Hmm how much are a new set of panels???

that really metallic black/charcoal on the Sport 160 is a very pretty colour too....

Norfolk mustard is reasonably common, but yellow (they made two types) was v uncommon!

Oh yeah...Azure is the Bomb!

Alun...guess red just must be very popular when I live then....there are 3 in shouting distance from my house

Black is best. Looks dark and brooding and looks good with soft top.

I had a silver one which did not show the chips at all! Looked cool with black wheels, I normally dont like Silver though.

Keep seeing non metallic red ones though and In my view they look the best by some distance.

Anyone ever seen a white one?
I see it's on the list of colours available but never seen one (not that elise's grow on trees around here)

I reckon the light/bright colours are the best, they really bring out the lines of the car, which can get lost in a dark colour.
Having said that my fave colour would be Azure Blue (which is a bit dark. ), then Titanium, and Norfolk Yellow

The specialist down Dorset/Cornwall way had a white one in for ages - Only reason for buying that would be for advertising purposes. Looked hideous!
