Went to pick up some parts from local Lotus dealer today (30 mile round trip), ended up doing 250 miles Snake Pass, Cat and Fiddle, Holmfirth to Glossop, Carsington loop - Exige is such a hoot to drive, best car I've ever owned - I love it to bits
lol, nice one BTW, was that Gordon Lamb in Sheffield you went to? If so, did you happen to notice whether they've got any S1 Elises in at the moment. Save me another wasted phone call/trip down there if they haven't!
Jim - no it was Chris Foulds (classic Lotus dealer at Huddersfield - excellent service!!) Called last week at Lambs had 1 S1 for sale + an Exige and a number of S2s) - I live in Sheff tho'
I sort of live in Sheffield and I use Foulds all the time. Where is the Carsington loop? What colour Exige is it, I'll keep an eye out next time I'm home.

Chris Foulds are at Honley - 5 miles SW of Huddersfield, not far from Holmfirth. They recently did Exige A service - splendid job for a little more than half main dealer price Also some excellent roads round there
Sorry, Carsington loop is round Carsington reservoir between Cromford and Ashbourne in Derbyshire, basically its approx 15 mile round circuit - v fast, superb bends - just have to watch out for cyclists and ramblers tho'
Thanks clanger, I'll have to have a look sometime. I'll second the Foulds recommendation, they are always helpful and of course, cheaper than main dealers.
