Harnesses

Roughly how much is it going to cost to add a set of harnesses to my MK1 Elise?

I#m trying to find an additional steed for my boring weekday runs and once I have I'll be upgrading the Liz for track/airfield stuff.

Hows the Liz now? Had a fantastic time last thursday at North Weald. Bizarely its felt like theres something wrong witht the steering as its so quick lock to lock (now I know how to turn a wheel properly!)

sorry I didnt I have much time to chat - a bit preoccuppied !

Car is fine - seems I overdid it jet washing the engine...water in relay, resulting in cam angle sensor fault therefore car not started ...sorted quickly by Sinclaires

I agree - Andy is brilliant - have done 4 days there...really gave me a lot more confidence in the cars abilities ready for when I did my first track day last year ...havnt looked back since! Sarah was hoping to get a 2nd day as she will be driving with me at Elvington later in the year...shes going to book in again in May

Glad to hear it was something friendly. It sounded like a relay or fuse had gone but I'm not clever enough to find things like that!

I'll definitely be booking in again with Andy - once I've been cleared by the missus (spending far too much on cars at the mo and not enough on weddings!)

Alun - I know the feeling ...my bl*ody car has cost me nearly £4K over the last few months !

Yep - diagnosis is so much easier with a Lotus Scan Tool :-)

I goth the harnesses direct from Luke, £75 each with alloy aircraft buckle.
Mounting bar from Motorbuild www.moto-build.com was about £100 IIRC
