Don't have a problem with the VX, but to say Elise owners would have one if it wasn't for the badge is doing a disservice to the Elise.

Beyond the styling (and I don't like the VXs), the pedal feel, steering feel, ride and handling are all somewhat different.

git! hey, we may have met and not known!

"the whole acceleration is totally without drama - bloddy fast, but no drama."
tricky to guage if you've only driven at Autodrome....cos nothing ever feels fast when you dont have things to guage speed by (kerbs, trees etc..) Running my diablo up Bruntingthorpe was surprisingly drama-less....up till about 180 anyway

But then I'm a notchy-turbo-nutty car person at heart that likes cars that have to be driven, not drive for you
definitely cant argue with that Joust! Ever tried an old Esprit turbo SE?...massive compression ratio on the turbo...proper pin you to your seat stuff!

ph, and the VX220 turbo, which is only a grand more than an elise with no extras does indede p*ss all oevr it as stated...IMO anyway

[Yep - my brother went through a series of SE's and then later versions - and you obviously haven't been in a Noble then

I'll trade you a ride in the Noble for one in the Lambo

more than welcome...but you'll HAVE to be in a queue behind Domster. I can't seem to stay in the UK long enough to get him a go, and I think he'd kil me if someone else went first

Common complaint - all due to it's nothing like a normal box - nearest is to a straight cut dog box in action - i.e. you actually have to push it into where you want it. Once you master it I can assure you it's one of the quickest boxes out there.....

Err - OK then.....

Joust I thought it was just a standard ford gearbox with a linkage that is arguably not the cars best point?
