how does it handle??? my friend has a mid engine mr2 and he says its **** in the rain...so whats the trueth?

Could be that he's ***** at driving - the MR2s I've had have been great in the rain.

No problem - drive mine in rain and snow. Its more down to the driver - theres no electronic aids. Its never gonna be as quick in the rain as say a 4WD Evo or Scooby...but its quick enough for me in the rain....funnily enough I dont drive fast when the conditions are poor anyway

wondered about this until Brands last year in rain so bad they shut the track for a few hours to stop paddock from being a waterfall....The S2 was brilliant....lost the back at about 70 through surtees and it came back again...grip was impressive and confidence building (not to say I didnt spin a fair few times!)...obviously be different on the road with different tarmac etc...but seems pretty stable and well behaved to me (originally bridgestones)
