Don't ask me why!!

It took me ages to source the car , and signs by it ,it's the best , most reliable car I have ever owned ...

I've enjoyed every minute , and I don't want to sell , but it's time to move on.driving

Thanks Mark .. I'll be just as well pleased if it doesn't sell (hence the fairly high price...)since the plan would be to take the pain of a diesel golf , or similar for the next few months and then review my options.

The ultimate plan would be day to day in the golf , and a GT3 under a car cover for those days that I wake up with my tail in the air , and possibly a bi-annual trip to europe in it.

I still don't know why I even have my car on the market confused , besides just getting an impulse to do it a few days ago. I'd imagine it'll take a while to sell , so I'll just take it day be day.

It doesn't help btw that I've gone the last 3 days without driving it , and I'm already dying to jump in and head off , PSE blaring!! How the hell am I going to last 6+ months in a diesel golf!!!

Hey Richard,

Would love to do Le Mans but have a wedding in Italy that weekend (and yes, I did consider driving to Italy!!).

Off on the Furball (www.furball5000.co.uk) for my petrol fix.

My new car above. Rang the insurance co. and they will insure the MX5 and refund me £450. Taking that into account I have got the MX5 on the road with 1 year MOT and 6 months tax for well south of £1,500.

Bargain motoring.......

thumbup .. You'll find the limits on that un fairly quickly after what you've been used to!!

Magic torch also got one after selling his 996 ,says he gets a great kick out of it.

Are you going to avail of the opportunity to bring in a substantial piece of kit VRT free??

We have decided to stay in the UK for a couple of years more. Times are good over here and houses are only getting cheaper at home!!

Following Marks success I've reduced the price towards a more 'reasonable' level ..

What y'all think? , there's still a bit of negotiating space left , but I don't want to reduce by a whole lot more...

Congrats on the sale- it was a beautiful looking car (sorry I never got to hear it!) and I hope the new owner appreciates it.

Know what you mean about missing it - just arrived back from holiday and really missing being able to jump in and go for a spin - the drive looks all empty and incomplete...

We need to focus on the replacements - eyes forward!!
