Brake pad option

Got a Tuscan speed six with the LS 7 in the front , the car will do the odd track day but what are people using for fast road
duties ?

Arnt the rears some Ford rear pad ?

Got these in the 4.5 and are a vast improvement on standard, down side is the brake dust and a little squeel on soft braking.

I seem to recall reading on the Lotus forums that the pads tend to break quite a lot...

I use the EBC redstuff pads. Work great, just a little squeaky when braking. Ans less brake dust.

Ferodo DS2500.

The rear calipers are Ford Sierra Cosworth.

And another - I run them front and rear on the 350.

Best pads around are Carbotec pads apart from if you have carbon ceramics. far better than Ferodo DS2500's but the downside is they squeak/make a bit of dust cost around 400 quid and discs dont last as long depending on compound

I think I'll stick with the DS2500s.
