I wonder why the hell I am so attached to the Dam thing. If it was a super model who was stinking rich and a nympho I would have dumpped her long ago for the pain and hassle she has cost me.
But I will hang on in there but It would be good to get some miles on it this summer.
George, this is how a real man loves ! smile
Good luck !

Hang on to the thought that she could be a super model who was stinking rich and a nympho and may soon stop sleeping with other men!

So what was it George. Has the pump failed or is there another issue?

The engine is out of it and it is being inspected by Power as I type this, hopefully I will get it back soon. But my confidence in TVRs has taken a right hit. frown

Have you had any clarity on the temp issue?

Yea, it wasn't my inability to fill and bleed the car with coolant, I must have done it a hundred times since the symptoms appeared last October!!! It wasn't the water pump either but a rear bolt from the head pulling its threads in the block. I don't really know why or how that happened or how this affected the temperature but I am sure Dom will explain when I collect it at the end of next week. I am just desperate to get it back and get some miles on it this summer and I will see what happens after that but my confidence in TVRs has taken a big hit over the last few months.

Great that you have found the issue after so much head scratching.

Hope you are back on the road soon to enjoy the good driving weather.

So how will this be resolved? New block? Any idea what caused it?

Hi
Just interested to see what the outcome was on this problem?
Could we have some feedback for the companies involved for future reference please.

Andy.
