3.7 Speed Six Engine Designed and Engineered by RND

Anti reversion spike.if you look at the picture of the manifolds you will see that pipes have been brought closer together into a collector for better flow, what can happen is you can get reversion as the gases enter the collector, so what weve done to help stop this where the pipes merge in the centre, we fit a three inch spike bit like a stiletto as the gases enter the collector this helps keep the gases flowing in the right direction.
Early cranks were not straight and balance was a problem. Take a look at the amount of material drilled out of the central webs to try and get them balanced. Not a good start to a performance engine build.
The cranks were supported either end post heat treatment and deflected under self weight.

To be honest..... No. I've kind of lost faith in it, and it's sitting it the garage unwashed and slightly sorry for itself. I've got a house move coming up, and after that I'll ship it over to someone who can make me believe in it again. Then I hope to use it for what it was designed for - on the track!
Sorry to hear about your Tam Don, I hope somebody can breath some life back in to her for your enjoyment on the track. Are you moving very far?

I have indeed being running an Omex 710 on my race car for two years now, I have also had the exhaust spike fitted to several of my race cars for 4 years.
Thanks for confirming that Perry, I fully support your comments in Sprint with regards to Steve at Power Crazy, he is a very knowledgeable and helpful guy. 10 out of 10.Don

Alex, I believe I'm next in line for one of these airboxes, I know we have different cars/engines, but have you noticed any discernible improvements?
Mmm, Is there any data available? Before Airbox data and after airbox data. I've the act one and theres not much data on that either :/ Gassing Station | Speed Six Engine | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
