Mmm, Is there any data available? Before Airbox data and after airbox data. I've the act one and theres not much data on that either :/
There was a thread about a year or two ago from Clive with some figures. They worked on a prototype similar to the one Julian and Brendan finally produced.

I have indeed being running an Omex 710 on my race car for two years now, I have also had the exhaust spike fitted to several of my race cars for 4 years.
Thanks for confirming that Perry, I fully support your comments in Sprint with regards to Steve at Power Crazy, he is a very knowledgeable and helpful guy. 10 out of 10.

Don
Yep I have known Steve for a good few years now. He prepares all my cars road and race and of course we are getting really good results with the Chevrolet and Rover Tuscans which is mostly down to Steve making them go faster rather than my driving. I'm slowly converting him as to, on the whole the good TVR people to which your patience has been refreshing. Your car is a very tasty example and I do admit to me and Steve having a soft spot for it.Look forward to hearing what the performance is like when it is bedded in .If you are ever at a race meeting I'm at please come to the pit for a cuppa.

Hello Perry/Don yes i agree Steve at Power Crazy has done fantastic job on getting the map sorted on Dons car its taken time to do it but the results are looking real good and the Omex 710 unit will benefit future customers now the proper development has been done on the system.

Hi mate

I haven't got the car back yet. Still getting work done on it, so can't tell you about it yet.

Cheers
I know, like said elsewhere a bit of a backlog, but worth the wait in my opinion. I'm having the new box fitted hoping for enhanced performance, if there is none, at least it will look good.

I am aware that Joolz has spent a lot of time and effort on the air box I am therefore sure that it will improve the figures.

Don
As per above, CliveF worked with Joolz on airbox, pipes, throttle bodies, bigger injectors, exhaust, high lift cams and full remap... results here...

I stick by my comments on the S 6 crankshafts its fact!
I'd be more inclined to go with what Dom is saying after all he has built 100s or Speed Six engines and has many satisfied customers out there driving them.

You do realise that the profile of a cam is to all intents and pupurposes unpatentable.. Its likely any duration and lift in the profile has been used somewhere else in the last 100 years of camshaft existence...

Thankfully Saturday was dry and sunny so managed to take her out for a nice drive, I still haven't got used to how quickly the engine responds to the throttle and how smooth it is in comparison to the MBE.

Unfortunately my indicators are not working something must have been disturbed during the final installation of the ECU. Does anybody know which of the control units feed the indicators please and is it in the drivers foot well?

At last a dry and sunny day and luckily it coincided with the Hants TVR Club monthly meet. I only managed to clock up around 50 miles but enjoyed some spirited driving with a couple of other TVR's en route to the meeting point. The engine ran sweet and there were no issues, I look forward to some more decent weather.

Dry and sunny so needs must, get the TVR out of the garage for a nice quick sprint across some demanding B roads. The car performed faultlessly and I am now getting used to the different characteristics of the Omex ECU having covered just over 300 miles since it was installed. Unfortunately the really bad weather has prevented me from covering 1000 miles by the end of Feb but as the engine was already run in before the Omex was fitted I can enjoy full power when the weather and road conditions allow it. All I need to do now is arrange for a power run on the rolling road to check the map is spot on and record the power figures.

If you look to the left hand side of the post there is a name. That might give you a clue as to the person who wrote the post.So no,the person who you are trying to imply wrote the post did not.His grammar & diction will not get better because as you well know he is dyslexic.

While you are here on PH David would you like to see a picture of the uprated SC Power engine mounts I paid for & sent your engine builder & compare it to the ones that are fitted to my car?
