Oil pressure

Curiosity question.

Is the oil pressure switch before or after the oil filter.. So it is between the pump and the filter or after the filter.

It is below the airbox, on the chassis rail directly opposit the air filter. Small silver cylinder with 2 wires coming out the top of it.

Let me ask this another way.. Ignoring the oil filter bypass and assuming the filter was 100% blocked..would the oil pressure be very high or very low.

The oil pressure switch measures after the filter.
Readings should be a bit higher with new filter.
