Car sat for 6 months and only turned over a couple of times ( due to battery issues). Anyway started up today and it sounds a little more 'metallic' . Do you think it's just oil migrated from tappets or worse, oil pump not working. How do you know? Do I just run it ( following usual warm up process) or are ther some check/ procedures I can follow to make sure oil circulating?

Any useful advise welcome - I could do without spending £10k just now on a rebuild (note car is 2003 with 10k mileage)
