Following on from my comments in the manifold thread.

I have a 4.0 Tuscan S6 being rebuilt at Powers. My intention is to fit this to Tamy. Does anyone know if the ECU / Chip programe is the same for the two engines?

That is, if I fit the 4.0 can I just hook up the wiring as it came off the 3.6. Balance the throttle bodies. Plug in the laptop and reset the values. Then drivey drivey time.

You should have a chat with Dom. EPROM is the same hardware wise but i assume injection timing / mapping is different.

One assumes that having it rebuilt as a Dom 4.3 was out of the question? I hear very good things about that upgrade.

I chat with Dom once the build is done.

This engine is a 'spare' so no value in anything more than a standard rebuild. The original engine will be moddified, no decision yet as to how though.
