Any more details you can share Dom? Such as rev limits, would the (amazing) larger headers work better with it, stuff like that....
At the moment we are testing new profile camshafts so we are able push the barriers even higher and still offer Power's 5yrs unlimited mileage warranties which is very important for our future customers, second set of larger manifolds will be fitted as a back to back comparison to our 4.3 tamora demo car, therefor this will set what platform level we go, im not shouting about the 4.7 until endurance tests are completed! watch this space i'll keep you all informedDom

Very well played with all the engine options Dom, love our chats I know what I'll be doing just please don't make us wait to long as I may get an impulse and ask you to put a 4.5 in mine... then a week later the 4.7 is released lolDom
I have to say that being offered a 5 year warranty is a huge bonus. Buy a crate chevy and install it in a non chevy car and I doubt the warranty will be honoured. Far to many things could differ from the GM installation. The ls engines are heavily protected from damage by the factory tune.
I know some love the LS idea, but in all honesty, even the 'lowly' 4.3 is more than enough for such a light and nimble sports car. I sometimes spin the wheels without even realising, it's only when I get a strong smell of burning rubber in the cabin that I realise I perhaps used a little too much throttle!

It all down to personal opinion but personally it's the straight six all the way. Don't get me wrong I love a V8, but the car was meant to have a straight six and in my opinion suits the cars it sits in.
I'm not hugely worried about future values, obviously the higher the better. But would the LS cars be worth the same in the future? I doubt it

Brilliant work Dom, long may the development continue.
I have no need for a rebuild anytime soon, but I know exactly where Im going once I do.
No chance of an LS getting anywhere near my TVR..!
We have one of Topcats LS7 conversions, with just over 550hp you need a ride in one before you dismiss the LS option ....I have no need for a rebuild anytime soon, but I know exactly where Im going once I do.

No worries. You'll need to get your skates on though if you're going to get the 4.7 on sale before your 5.1 upgrade comes out in the summer. Dom

Any feedback on the new profile camshafts Dom ?
What engine did you fit them to ?
Are they retro-fittable and beneficial to a 4.0 ?
Power GT cams have to run shorter installed valve guides with Powers bespoke valve springs that "MUST" be built with corrected pressures and installed heights What engine did you fit them to ?
Are they retro-fittable and beneficial to a 4.0 ?
