I read somewhere the 1st and 2nd numbers of the engine denote the capacity. For example my engine number is P40xxxxx for a 4L.

Great to see another Tuscan in this corner of the country by the way!

Hi Mart

If it still has the original engine it should say in the handbook / logbook what engine it is, they do put a smile on your face don't they. I see you are a welder and maybe you could help I have recently bought a Wedge and started doing it up, the drivers side seat framework has snapped and I am looking for a welder maybe you could help, I am near Sittingbourne so not far from you, I could drive to you so you could have a look and see if you could fix it for me, I also have a 4.5 T350 which is rather special wink

The engine number should also be on the chassis plate.
This is located in the boot under the latch.
It is normally mounted upside down, so that when you bend over and look back at it it is the rot way up.
Love TVRs thinking on things like this!
