stuck in reverse

hi has any other tvr owners had the same problem i have had a few times that once you get the car in reverse it is either very very hard to get out again or cannot get it out at all and have to turn the car off to take out of gear to then re-select first

Oddly enough had this problem sorted yesterday.

It's either the slave cylinder not releasing the clutch or more likely the springs in the centre plate broken or missing (one of mine was missing).
