In a world where almostv any dealer can service your new car now and it retains its warranty how can Power insist ons omething like this??

Just curious, I can see why Power would insist they see the engine every 6000 miles/year as regular close inspection can prevent premature destruction, but....still curious.

Power would like the car serviced at their place to keep the warranty in tact.

I think it's fair enough especially if they are putting a 5 year warranty on it and there name to it.

Sidewayz do you have to have your engine serviced at Power from now on to take advantage of the warranty as per there latest news release?
Now see what you started smile

I think its fair for Dom to service the engine and will be taking it there so he can keep an eye on it.As for legalities I have no idea but if my company was taking on the risk element I would want to take on the responsibility of looking after it.

Everything else will be done by Trimar who are an excellent team who have given me years of great service.

Probably a really stupid way to do it but true to form...

Sounds reasonable enough to me?

Sidewayz, I was not trying to open a can of worms, I was just wondering what the score was. I also use Trimar for my servicing and when my engine goes pop again, I'm not sure if I could be bothered to get my car to Power for future servicing if they got the business at rebuild time.

More to the point, get the thing run in and onto Surrey Rolling Roads rollers to get a bhp reading we can all compare to!!

Just to let you all know Tvr Power will ALLOW services to be carried out by several authorised outlets around the country.

Thats good news.. I`m in N.Ireland and I wouldn`t want the trip over every year to get things serviced - the local servicer comes highly recommended by everyone I`ve know (top bloke too!)

Well i've just got back from picking my car up and all i can do is echo what sidewayz has already said.

It feels like it wants to play all the way through the revs and it hasn't been run in yet! i can't wait too see what it's like when it is.

Just a big thanks to Dom and his team and and especially for the quick turn around!

Cheers.clap
