Just popped into RG today and saw Pascal's Swordfish Tusc. The engine is in the car, and the Rotrex has been fitted.

It won't be running until next week but I thought that I would just post a quick update, and stir up Pascal who must be really chomping at the bit! Not too long now mate.

The fitment looks good; it took me a few seconds to realise what I was looking at because it just looks like it should be there. There is no hint of after-thought about the installation which just looks very professional.

I'm not in the least bit jealous. Not at all.

I believe certain Isles produce a much more appreciated variety of spirituals...

I'm at RG tomorrow BTW smile

Off to London for TiTT4 tomorrow, so I may or may not be around when you are at RG. Not sure what time we are leaving yet - what's your ETA?

Yep - some nice spiritual things in these Isle, which are unfortunately both habit and headache forming frown

Hey Pascal, it looks that you are waiting for your car since ages...grumpy
Is it that you´ll get a special beta tester engine, or is this the regular FFF transplantation time at RG ?

Mine is out of order since May 8th - had it back for 4 weeks and 3500km in August - and now sitting in Deinze again since almost 3 months waiting to get it fixed with a 4,3 l Power block.

Let´s hope for a mild Winter in the BeNeLux to make-up some running-in miles.
By all means the "2009 TVR frustration & patience award" nuts goes to either Belgium or Luxembourg.

Jo,

You are right, I am waiting for quite some time (and ages isn't that far from it).

But to be honest, it did have an engine in last year, I then decided to go for the FFF engine, somewhere in the past year I decided to go for a supercharged engine, and what I saw today is well... FAR beyond my wildest expectations (and trust me, I put them higher then anyone at Racing Green has ever done).

Isn't just a standard rebuilt, but a whole lot of upgrade compared to any engine I've seen out there.

Aahh, I see. So the "2010 mainland TVR fun and power award" will also go to Belgium, or to Luxembourg... Hope to see you with your supercharged baby in Zolder or another TVR CC meeting next year.
