So hold on. One minute we have Dom saying "why is it taking so long, blah blah, it's easy, you dolts should have finished it by now. It's only bolting a Rotrex on" and then we have him saying "do you have any idea how complex this is? It costs £25k and it's way more than just bolting a Rotrex on"
I'm confused.
+1I'm confused.

This is another reason Dom why I'd rather have an S6 that revved safely to 8k than one of your longer stroke engines. I'm quite happy to pay just as much for a 4 litre with top spec internals.
It's the horses for courses thing, isn't it? Loads of people are happy with Dom's 4.3 builds which is great for the marque and the enthusiasts. But if you like the full rev range keep RG in mind. Don't know if you've tested the FFF (too far from Davy Mac?) but as someone who's put 10k on mine, I can only recommend them. Great engine, loads of go - and revs all the way round! And in 4th you can happily pull from 30mph to 100-and-silly mph (on a private road of course).Edited by T40ORA on Friday 14th May 09:23

How are the FFF RG engines coming along? Are there many out there?
Still lovely. 14k on mine, goes like a dream. Smooth, quiet and pulls like a train - very linear delivery through the full rev range. In 4th gear it happily trundles along at 1200 - 1300 revs, then pulls all the way through to where I bottle out Will get it to Charlie at SRR or Richard at Omex soon (honest) to check the numbers.
Not sure how many others out there though.
Hey John, I can't take it apart to show you the internals but you are still welcome to have a go at mine as and when we meet up.
Err Dom, I did say from 1200 revs to silly speeds without changing gears.
Once I get to the end of my road I can leave my village in either 2nd gear as Davy said, or 4th gear and without changing up can go through the 30mph, 50mph and national speed limit plus (a lot).
So yeah Davy, long live the speed 6. (2nd is lovely, I agree. Nice and brutal)

Thanks for letting me take out your P&J Pascal. Truly amazing experience.
And as has been said, the accelerative ability is astounding, and set at such low boost too....
But in any gear, you just plant your right foot and the thing just takes off. Controllably as it is so linear. But it just always there.
I never, ever thought that I would call my car slow. But getting into her after my little spin it just felt so ordinary.
A fantastic piece of work by some really talented guys at Racing Green. So damned good to see your silly grin Pascal.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy....
