Good to see it looking so well.
Once it's run in don't forget to give us some audio to go with the pictures.
Enjoy.(Give my best to all at RG when you see them.)

It sounds bloody amazing Davy. I'm sort of looking forward to a passenger ride in it. Just slightly scared though as it's going to be a beast...
The car, or the nutcase driving it? wink
A little of both mate! Road or track, I'll be wearing my lid wink

Nuts. Completely nuts. In a good way.

How will you put that kind of power down? (OK, carefully, I know).

Pascal, cracking looking engine you have there, and a brave man to put it into a Tuscan Mk 1, forget about the indicator's, get a hinged bonnet as a priority, would hazard a guess at £15k for the end result? hope the Nitron's keep it on the straight and narrow.

If you need any help during the running in period would be happy to help out, no point in taking it all the way back to Belgium until its's fully tried and tested. lick

600 bhp target......impressive! smile What boost will you be running? Have you got a charge-cooler in there somewhere?

End result is a bit more pricey... But then again, as I said, it's not just a rebuild...

Charge cooler in there indeed (it's located underneath the radiator up front).

600bhp is the least I want, I hope to have more... Haven't got a clue what the boost will be like in this config, but if I don't get to the hp I want, I'll change the pulleys wink

Excellent!

So I presume that the ally airbox incorporates the heat exchanger? How is it incorporated into the airbox? Is it located where the panel filter is normally located in the standard airbox?

How are you planning on keeping engine temperatures in check? Has the cooling system been upgraded to cope with the extra power? I presume you're also going to have to ceramic coat the exhaust manifolds to keep engine bay tempertaures sensible?

Sorry, lots of questions. smile

Colin showed me some nice things related to the cooling bits, but don't know at this point where they've all ended up smile Didn't get to spend that much time with the car, because after picking it up for the Autosport show, I dropped it off at Omex... I do know that an extra radiator sits underneath the radiator, up front, and that is where the air intake sits next to now too...

Exhaust manifolds are treated with some tricky stuff as well, of which the name doesn't jump into mind right now (and thanks to Mr. Mircosoft I can't read back on the mails about it). Apart from that coating (that's why the manifolds are black), there are lots of heat shields everywhere around to protect the chassis too..

Trying to get omex's Richard on the phone, but so far no luck.. I want some numbers before the weekend smile

Are you running a charge-cooler or intercooler I see no water reservoir or separate water pump for charge cooler

I can't see any air cooling in these pictures. So I guess it works without an intercooler or a charge-cooling System.

There is indeed no chargecooler installed yet in those pictures (taken a few weeks ago).

glad you said that because that small charger wont make 250 bhp on top of your asperated power of 400 bhp

Guess I'll have to ask Rotrex to make a bigger one then, it's the biggest they have...
