I appreciate 'perfect condition' runs with un-mechanically sympathetic drivers will get quicker times, and that's why I mentioned that the times wouldn't be able to be compared directly in my original post.

Practicing your rhetorical questions, Dom???? Dom

Reasons I didn't run the car on the sprint:
- didn't have the gear with me.
- Close to Deejay's words here: I don't appreciate runs with un-mechanical sympathy, so I decided, after the engine developed a nasty tick on Saturday evening and Sunday morning it was getting worse (I told you that on the sidewalk of the Sprint venue). Turns out it was a bad tappet shim (has been replaced and the car is up and running again)
But most importantly:
- I'd have wasted you anyway
(Seriously, it was nice seeing you there, missed out on your demo runs, as Mike was checking the engine, and I was trying to make sure I had the flight back on Sunday - PITA to book a flight ticket on a phone LOL).

Was a pleasure mapping this!
Certainly helped it was built well
It inspired me to go buy a Tuscan myself and develop an ecu option with Racing Green to have full sequential Injection, Knock Control, Traction control, launch control, Engine trips for oil pressure etc, full lambda control and switchable maps to go with their FFF heads.
Keep an eye on the development as your engine/car I feel could definitely benefit from having knock control, sequential injection and Traction control
Enjoy

It'll be back for some more work on it in a few weeks, RG just let me have it for the remainder of the summer, as I didn't have it for quite some time...
I know there are still some things to improve, certainly the things you mention, and a chargecooler for one... Ah well, first some time to enjoy it as is, then improve a bit more.
Does anyone have a link to the article in Sprint magazine from last month??

surely you'd be looking at low 12's pushing nearly 12 flat??
My T350 4.0s (STR8SIX) decat with a 3.73 diff ran a 12.4 on an old runway with road tyres on, I am sure there was more to come as well, but my gear stick was coming really loose making changing gear pretty fun.
