Is it possible to download maps seperately for iphone app ? I originally purchase UK & Ireland but am heading down to south of France next week so assume I would be able to add this area as a seperate purchase, but struggling to find how to do this.

You won't be able to get just France, you'd have to buy Europe or Western Europe maps (both of which would have included UK if you'd bought them first).

Never thought when puchasing the app. originally. Just bought the one I thought I needed, and assumed like normal tomtoms i'd be able to purchase add-ons if required. Clearly not the case.
So, £60 originally, now another £80. Not very good is it really.

You could try ringing tomtom customer services & appeal to their better nature to see if you can get a discount on upgrading.
