Do-able?

At the moment if I reduce the annoying womens voice level to zero I also lose the Speed Camera audio alert (beep-beep).

Can you have just the Camera alerts without her nagging? If so, please enlighten me.

Yup, go onto TomTom home and download one of the "silent" voices. Set the voice to that one, and leave the volume up. Each instruction will play like 1 sec of "silence" but you'll still hear the camera alerts etc.

Brilliant! Thanks.

I thought I might have missed a 'setting' but clearly with your reply you're saying I haven't.

Thanks again fella.

Some of the later models (with later software versions, my 550 has) have a "Turn off Voice Directions" option - comes up as one of the icons when safety lock is enabled (be in options screens some where otherwise) - Otherwise just download silent voice

Is it possible to only have the speed alert beeps if you are actually speeding?
