Finally got Mobius back and front, back one took a long time to get round to doing but have been able to run both off the same 5v converter, both with 64GB cards and the video quality is tip top.
My GoPro is now entirely redundant tbh.
I'm doing something similarMy GoPro is now entirely redundant tbh.
Hard wired a lidl cigarette lighter adapter that has inbuilt USB supply, hidden it under the dash then run some long cables so it's hidden
Möbius at front and rear, can't really see them unless you know they are there
Someone did do some measurements somewhere and the maximum draw off a mobius is a little over 500mA so they can easily handle 2 of them. Though it might be worth checking what that cigarette adapter is rated to as sometimes I know the mains USB adapters at least only get rated to 1amp.
Apologies if teaching granny to suck eggs or anything such
As you say they're neigh on invisible unless you point them out, all the flashing record lights face inwards (can be turned off in the firmware I think too) great little devices.

Used one of these with a fuse tap off the interior fuse box which is conveniently placed on my car at least http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-to-DC-Converter-Regul...

did you consider which way round you put your fuse tap in?Someone did do some measurements somewhere and the maximum draw off a mobius is a little over 500mA so they can easily handle 2 of them. There is a hot and cold side.
You can put it in the wrong way, the original fuse will still work, but the additional circuit you added CAN be unfused if its upside down
How many people are running their mobius with a class 10 sandisk without problems? Just seems a bit Lame having to buy a class 4 when I could have a class 10 that I would use in other stuff for the same price
Are the people who have problems just trying to save too long a clip in each file or something?

I didn't know there was the potential for a problem tbh, I have a class 10 Sandisk in one of mine like the below:Are the people who have problems just trying to save too long a clip in each file or something?

The rear one has a Samsung class 10 64gb card in it, neither have any issue and both are set to 5 minute clips and to overwrite/loop on filling up.
M6 J20A southbound..there's only a sliproad off the motorway, not one going on..but that doesn't deter some drivers.

Holy st, that could've ended really badly. No way that Fiesta even looked what was at side of them, it was just a 'do it and hope for the best' manoeuvre. Absolutely mental.Watch the black car on the far inside lane..suicidal

Just ordered a Mobius, hoping to make a really neat install - what's the best way to mount the camera. Want something unobtrusive, is the best thing just to use velcro on the sun visor? Photos appreciated. Going to take power from the courtesy light.
It's sounds like a bodge but it's the neatest and cleanest method I've come across for a möbiusYou cut a length of milk bottle plastic and weave this strip through the möbius case
Fold the strip back on its self to form a loop , make a hole in the loop
Now use a sun visor bolt or trim popper to insert in the hole and hold it
I've done this in the rear and it looks factory fit
I have a Mivue 338 installed, i've had it in for a couple of months now but i've just worked out that it is the culprit of causing interference with the stereo.
It is plugged into the Cig lighter (no hardwiring) and the interference only happens when the engine is running. When the ignition is on, but the engine is off there is no interference.
The interference is a low volume, high pitch buzzing noise. The buzz is present on all modes of the stereo (radio, AUX and USB). The buzz is at a constant volume, if I turn the radio volume up, the buzz stays at the same volume (it doesn't increase with the radio sound)
As far as i'm aware, there is no loss of FM or AM signal to the radio.
Has anyone come across this, and how can I stop it?
Thanks in advance.

Could try sticking a clip-on ferrite ring on the power cable near to the cig lighter end.

Bloody hell these things are not worth the hassle! I fiddled with the settings of my mini 0801, and got it to record properly instead of 5 minute segments.
Then today I switch it to 'video and audio' instead of video only and merrily went about a full trackday, 7 x 20 minute sessions.
What do I have? Yes, 7 x 5 minute videos of me barely leaving the fking paddock.

At first I was a bit dismayed, but then I remembered these are under £100 including everything needed to install it ... it's okay.
