I temporarily mounted the Mobius in the car today prior to the intended hardwire install in the next week or two. More than happy with the video quality etc but the big issue I've got is interference with DAB radio (built-in to my Audi A4). I've gone from almost 100% DAB signal on my 20 mile journey to work, down to about 10% reception, only getting it in the centre of two towns I pass through. I tried it without the power source just running on battery and it was no better, so the interference is definitely originating from the camera itself rather than the lead / charger.
A Google on the topic flags up a few other Mobius owners with the same issue, one chap has two Mobius's front and back but only one interferred which suggests some inconsistent shielding in the components so I'm wondering if its worth getting it swapped out as faulty or whether they're similar so should just try and shield it somehow?

Even the police do it when asking for help/witnesses to an incident.Does anyone on here remember real "footage" from a cine-camera etc? There was a time when you could hold the reel tape up to the light and view each frame...

I've installed the Mini 0806 now. I have a hard wire kit coming just to make the installation even neater.
I have to say I'm quite pleased with the quality of 'footage' for the price........though I've not really recorded anything interesting enough to upload yet.
What are people's thoughts on having the GPS/MPH stamped onto the video? It seems like it could be useful but could also be self incriminating. It is optional with this camera so I'm unsure what setting to use.

Another "which dash cam" post sorry! Not wanting to read all of these pages but my wife would like a dash cam for her Boxster.
Criteria are smaller the better (very important to her, she doesn't want some ugly box fastened to her windscreen) 1080p and be able to hard wire the kit in (she will forget to plug it in and out of course!).
GPS etc would be nice but not essential, as would wifi viewing but again not essential.
I'd like if possible to be under £100 but may stretch for a really good one that fit the criteria.
I've looked but there seems to be hundreds out there and would prefer a recommend if possible. Thanks in advance.

^This. Techmoan youtube and website helped me make my mind up. I got the mini 0806 with GPS and filter lense thing and bought a separate hard wire kit & 32gb SD car all for about £110 delivered next day from Amazon. It is very discreet and easy to install.I think the £100 area is a good amount to spend, unless you are a real tech geek and want fancy kit, front and back cameras, etc.

It isnt always the size of the camera thats the issue, its the size of the mount. Take a look at the E-Prance range (Mini 0801,0805,0806 etc) - the mount is the size of a 2p but is perm affixed to the screen. The cam itself then slots into it. The 12v cable goes to the mount. A question for dashcam users please.
Do you leave them in place all the time (affixed to the windscreen) or do you remove after each journey, and if so where do you store it, e.g. inside the car or elsewhere.
I have just purchased my first one (Drivepro 220) and I am unsure of what to do.

I leave the Mobius in as it looks like it is part of the car. Do you leave them in place all the time (affixed to the windscreen) or do you remove after each journey, and if so where do you store it, e.g. inside the car or elsewhere.
