Totally confused. Halfords sell a Tom Tom Via 135M which isn't listed on Tom Tom's own site. Does that mean it's an old model? I need one for my Porsche 356 to go on a Euro road trip this summer, so I need a destination and way points input. Any recommendations for what is good right now?

not sure about a dedicated module, but smart phones seem really good

I just purchased the cheapest nokia smartphone running windows 8 which comes with free downloadable maps of the entire world

the phone i purchased had £20 free app purchases so i got the add on to the free mapping already installed so it'd act as a sat nav for 9.99

i just tested it out on my le mans trip and it was excellent, connected via blue tooth to my stereo for nice clear directions

Hi Nick

Had the same dilemma last week, bought one of these from Halfords for our Le Mans Classic trip and it does exactly what it says on the tin for £99.95....
