TYRE route planning issue?

I asked this a while ago on the "roads" section but got no answers so...

We've been doing Euro tours for a while now and use TYRE/Googlemaps to route plan, then transfer them to TomToms as itineraries. However we often have trouble with the planning, as the program seems to route around winter road closures. At least that what I think is happening, as come summer it works OK. Can't find anyway of setting a date and changing the laptops date just causes it not to be able to open/access googlemaps.

Has anybody found a way around this?

It does indeed route around winter closures if you are doing your planning during winter.

I do my route planning on tyre this summer for next summer.

i used to use tyre for free on my lap top and tranfer it to my tom tom rider 11 now it seems you have to pay a subsription fee so i havnt had it since, do you know of another tyre type survce that is free?? Regards,Mark.

The basic version is still free, it's just it has adverts & a few fewer features, but you can still plan & upload routes.

strange!! when i try to down load this Tyre service it says i need to pay a subscription fee and this is the official tom tom page version, could you put a link on so i could maybe copy and paste it for the same search,thanks, Mark.
