Difference between 5100 and 6100?

Is the only difference between the Tomtom 5100 and 6100 the screen size?

Yes screen size is the difference, same chipset underneath! In my opinion though save your money and go with the 510 or 610 and use your phone as a modem, I wouldn't be surprised if like the go 1005 the inbuilt sim card only uses GPRS. I got a 510 through Halfords as they had a £10 saving on list and 20% trade in offer running. Very impressed so far with the responsiveness and speed of the unit, far more streamlined menu's as well!

I'll be using it for France etc, hence the 5100 and 6100.

The 5" screen looks adequate enough. The 6" screen looks like a cinema and too much of a distraction.

Thanks! Bought the 5100 for the trade in deal. I may have forgotten to hand my old 'nav in, and they may have forgotten to ask for it. Live traffic? It already consistently getting me home a few minutes quicker every day.
