Garmin- any way to delete obsolete roadwork speed limits?

I have a Nuvi 250W and apart from it sending me around some weird country lanes at times, the most annoying thing is speed limit warnings from old road works. Is there any way to get rid of these? Thanks.

Update the maps. I don't know of any other way.

or go into the settings and disable all speed warnings
