Hi all,

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place, but it seemed the most appropriate.

I've recently purchased a c6 corvette and am looking to replace the standard double DIN (very basic unit) with a decent one with sat-nav etc.

However the choice is overwhelming. Some (more expensive) have satnav built in while others don't but offer "Apple car play" from which you can mirror your phone sat-nav. I always believed that Alpine made the best car entertainment stuff; is that still the case?

Anyway, if anyone here knows a thing or two about this I'd be grateful for some tips!

Cheers.

Have bought a number over the years.

In general I find pioneer has a warmer sound.

Alpine has more adjustability

Apple play in my experience can be hit and miss

Personally I would go with a pioneer with built in DVD, digital radio and sat Nav. I have one in my monaro and its so easy to use even my dad can find his way around.

Hope this helps
