Best unmarked cars/speed gun etc detectors?
Discussion
Another one for the Mk1 eyeball sorry.
I reguarily drive a 900 miles plus round trip and try to make decent progress when it is safe to do so.
That isn't very often these days ,but one thing I have tried to discipline myself into doing is making my car as invisible as possible whilst trying to maintain a desent lick.
This doesn't mean some super stealth coatings but driving as unobtrusivly as possible, LH lane etc, etc and an active lookour front and rear.
One thing that has become readily apparent is the determined RH/MLM species seem to have become even more intrangient in their behavior, the difficulty being you give your speed differential away when you sweep out to pass them, something else to bear in mind.....

Good job I used the search facility before asking for radar detector info on here, not much love by the sound of it.
Oh well, I wouldnt be without mine (fitted to all vehicles) and will be ugrading one soon.
Personally I wouldn't drive without my laser / radar detector.Oh well, I wouldnt be without mine (fitted to all vehicles) and will be ugrading one soon.
With so many speed traps now blatently set as revenue raisers rather than safety driven it's a must.
And for picking up laser scatter ! well if you think you cant pick it up you carry on thinking that, I for one know you can and there's loads of videos on YouTube to prove it.

I've had a number of occasions when plod has been hiding in a bush with a laser gun, out collecting some revenue, when my Belltronics has saved me. One word plod.....
"Loser".....!
From the targetblueeye website (with my own additions to the end that they fail to mention)
Yes, the use of Target Blu Eye is legal since the system is only informing the driver whether an emergency service vehicle is nearby. Moreover, Target Blu Eye cannot differentiate between police vehicles, ambulances or fire engines.(as well as local authority vehicles,Gas companies, water companies, electric companies, parks police, tunnel police, nuclear police, volunteer responders, street wardens, traffic wardens, donor vehicles, highways agency, VOSA, Airwave base stations/ repeaters, police/amb helicopters, Traffic Scotland.......)
I had an Airwave handset for two years and didn't work for any of the above!!!!
Back to Mk1 Eyeball I suspect
