I've got a standard glass mount aerial for aftermarket DAB in my winter car but reception isn't amazing.

What's the recommendation for a good DAB aerial?

Just DAB or FM too? I've fitted loads of the various JVC ones, HAL1,2,3 etc., never had a problem and all work well.

I got mine from here, along with the Alpine DAB receiver etc -

The signal ratings are bang on. I went for a Kinetic DRA-6003 stubby, very happy, 22 DAB stations in my garage in a poor reception area plus good TMC reception for the sat nav, all despite mounted on a fibreglass roof.

I changed my glass mount for a proper roof mounted one, more hassle to fit but the reception is now perfect. Never drops the signal.

Got mine from dabonwheels as well.

Kinetic DRA-6003 as well, only ever had it drop out once, on the road that takes you from the M74 over to Edinburgh. Through a small town in a dip it cut out for about 5 seconds or so.

I have one of those too, but finding a "Hirshmann" connector for it was a pain in the arse

Thanks for the dabonwheels recommendation, fitted new aerial Sunday, massively improved reception, took it from unusable to perfect in one hit.

Mind sharing which one you went for?
