Garmin updating

I'm trying to update my Garmin Nuvi. It seems to be stuck, it's been showing 1hr 40m for the last hr now. What to do?

Reboot.

Just unplug it and try again?

Updating maps or updating firmware ?

Both, it just suddenly sprung into action. 1hr 40m turned into 30m so all done now.

Maps tend to stick for a while.

They seem to use an even less accurate version of the Microsoft progress indicator algorithm.
