Converting a Google Maps route to TomTom
Discussion
Apologies if this has been done before, but I couldn't find any recent topics/replies when searching.
We're off to Le Mans in a couple of week, and all bar one of our drivers has Google Maps for navigating the (somewhat intricate) route down. For boring reasons, the other driver can't use Google Maps, but has a reasonably modern TomTom (no idea what model exactly).
I have saved (and shared) our route with the team in Google Maps, but want to know if there is a reliable way to convert this into a format that can be read by TomTom devices. Google trawling is throwing up a lot of conflicting advice, so it would be good to get a de-facto view.

I use gpsvisualizer dot com (Although I have a Garmin)
Using this you can plan the route on Google Maps, input the URL into the website and it gives the option to export a .gpx file.
Then upload that .gpx file to the TomTom.
Thank you! That website took quite a long time to figure out (reminds me of Lycos!), but I think I got there in the end.Using this you can plan the route on Google Maps, input the URL into the website and it gives the option to export a .gpx file.
