Hi guys

Does anyone on here use a Target Blu Eye on a daily basis? I want to know how effective it is (i.e. how many alerts are false and how many are genuine)

In theory it should do because the operator will have a TETRA device on him

However, of course, that's not what its meant for...... wink

And it seems distinctly possible that the police may be moving away from Tetra/Airwave in future and may be moving onto a hybrid LTE+other network.... which would render these useless.

This is probably the main thing that I read during my reseach of it on the interwebs- the introduction of the ESN (Emergency services network) that runs on a part of EE's network

I'm really into wasting money on in car tech, but even I find 800 quid for this thing ridiculous for what it does.
